today..hockey training at nyp again..lol..do some drills..and terence just had to lose that bet..and his team must play half naked..and i just had to be in his team..so suay..lol..free tanning i guess..anyways then we did suicides for 5 times..before going lunch..

we had learned a lot from the senior batch and they were really good..no way past them eh..lol..fell asleep straight after reaching home..woke up at 8pm..now on to clear homework :)

HAHA..my christmas wish list is a blazer, slippers and a WEBCAM..lol why ? Shhhh...:)

Its 10th of December lerr..haha..left 18 days to finish the mountain loads of homework..in between having the Bangkok trip still..lol..zhe me ban? Lol..its day since jocelyn has left for msia and i am still trying to get used to it..:)..ohh and i am really looking forward to 27th December..:)

haha..today went to NIE pitch and watched and played hockey..JJC lost..then we played some small games and lied on the pitch flat down in the pouring rain..haha..freezing..caught a cold chill le..having sneezes here and there..

This friday going Vienna at Novena to makan..:)..cool..
haha for now..i will try to clear that mountain of homework..

today was the friendly against TJC..it meant quite something as it was our first game playing with other JCs..we lost 1-0..lost it all when it was so near..was supposed to emo..but there are good things to learn..we can bring the game up and the conversion to goals was lacking..we accept the defeat..bt we will be back stronger..

Today was also the 2nd day of ogl training..quite fun..felt everyone knew each other better..reached late due to the match..then the fun thing was probably the dance session..mambo no.5 :)..danced with jocelyn..haha..bt very tired..and we went to drink bubble tea after that..

Lol..tats it for today..thur hopefully theres a TJC match..and we will do our best...

queensway trip

haha..today spent one whole day at queensway shopping centre...just to buy a pair of track and turf shoes...lol 9 of the team were there..in the end 5 of them bought same shoes..F5 adidas turf..gay man lol..i bought a new balance track shoes and one nike turf boots haha..

One very silly thing we did was to pool a pool of coins..literally a pool of coins of ranging from 5 cents to 1 dollar..just to buy 3 packets of large fries..lol..imagine the look on the girl face when she receive the money :)

aniwaes..was glad to see J online msn and was able to chat with her..ok i still miss you bt not that much kays :) haha..hope to see her back soon

finally...theres a short break for hockey...hey..have been seeing them more than my parents lol..training resumes on tuesday again at delta..for those reading tis and suppose to help bring goalie bags to the delta..do come..or get teared..hahaha

aniwaes..yesterday was Nov 16 and it was J birthday...we celebrated at night and there was the mango cheesecake :) and those 3 presents..hope u liked it..then sent her home and return at 12..have a safe to mount K yeah..return in a piece yahh..haha...

monday going buy turf and running shoes at queens..then tues, thur and fri is training again..non stop..:) now is the time le..chiong...

yeah..guess hus back..the blog is alive..:)

So much stuffs have happen since i last blogged :)

hehs..firstly..i went to watch linkin park concert with hong yi, ding hui and kwan chiu. Then took a long bus 133 to amk interchange then cab back..hahas..

here are some pics of the concert..chestor was real good..real high at the stadium..

Next on is todae..haha went out wit her (J)..watched gameplan..super touching almost cried..she did cried a river..haha..then we went to have lunch..i had some bbq chicken..she had prata sausage..lols..i cooked for her maggie mee and its was nicee and she actually learned to crack an egg..it was marvellous..thumbs up..:)then went to tok and fool around until at nite then we go dinner..and we walked down our usual path of novena to newton..nice path..the distance just nice...

Tml gt training..yeah at nyp..from now its a team thing and we are all in this together..wonder if any of u guys are reading tis..bt we are a TEAM..hehs..its time to be united if we wanna win stuffs :) We have seen too much batch fail and we wont be heading their way..work hard !!!

hahaha..its been so long since i last blogged..lol..wonder if anione still reads..do tag to show u re here..lol..life has been real great recently..enjoying every moment before the promos pressure sets in..had a great birthdae tis year..thanks for all the da presents..17 liao..1 more to go before i can watch m18 movies legally..

Lol..almost one month since i blog le..so busy with the common test and stuffs..finally over..lol..lucky nvr fail any..ABCDDD..haha..hockey has stepped up training le..become twice a week..bt its getting more and more fun each time.. (Piggy back rides and you-know-what)..hope we can really all get college colours..Looking forward to tend of year camp..

Todae went to sch for inter-hse basketball..got there late and play one game then get GOLD trophy le (cheetah rocks) ..LOLs..feel like a bit not so deserved it..bt nvr mind..next year will make it more worthy..

There are two opinions to the freedom of speech. One view is that freedom of speech should be respected and people should be given the right to say anything they wish in a democratic country. Freedom of speech is essential to democracy and should not be limited. Another author's opinion is that freedom of speech is personal responsibility and one should restrict itself to avoid sensitives issues and causing conflict. An example would be the the cartoons that mocked Prophet Muhammad. It sparked outrage throughout the whole Islamic community.

One author Peter Singer feels that freedom of speech should be allowed so that the European countries can account to the Islamic community that democracy and the right of the individual to speak freely applies to all the different races and community and not just towards the Islamic community.

Another author Szilagyi feels that the press or media should be more responsible for their actions and avoid broadcasting issues that are sensitive and cause conflict. He feels that the cartoons further worsen the image of Islam in western countries.

Singapore is a multiracial country and there are many different religions and cultures among the people. Thus, Singapore should adopt Szilagyi's view that everyone should take social responsibility and to prevent sensitive issues from evolving into conflicts. Social cohesion is very important in Singapore as if there were to be racial conflicts between the different races, the economy would be drastically affected as foreign countries lose interest in Singapore due to its unstability. It would be also resulted in many lives lost. The effects of racial riots are as shown in the 1960s and we should not let history repeat itself. Each and every race in Singapore enjoy equal rights and standing in the society. Thus, every Singaporean should be responsible for their own words and not disturb the racial harmony that Singapore is enjoying now. This racial harmony can be very fragile. We should also educate the importance of racial harmony to the next generation and let them have the social responsibility to know what not to say.

Some may argue that Singapore is a democratic country and should embrace the freedom of speech that is an essential part of democracy. However, for Singapore, if we do allow freedom of speech and allow the people make fun or discriminate other races or religions culture, then it might eventually lead to the collapse of the country. The consequences are too huge for Singapore to bear and Szilagyi's way is the correct path for Singapore.

Todae was a hectic dae...first went to school for proejct work...from 1030 to 12..as usual..late again..10 45 then reach..-_-..then go makan at amk with jared and zhi hao..nothing much..then finally went home to watch Goal II then go for hockey training..lol as usual LATE again..445 then reach insstead of 430...then gt punished for running 7 rounds...practise pushes and hits and finally had a short game..haha..hockey is beginning to be more fun to plae..msut practise harder..must make it to team..:)..then met terence guan li n hong yi (brothers) to buy books and walk around northpoint a bit...

Yesterday was the end of the first term of our time at AJC...how fast time flies..conisdering there are a few more terms left of our jc life...Yesterdae was also the last day of our PDG tutor, Mr Tan Cham Yong, teaching us. He is leaving the college and its kinda sad seeing so..After he has taught our class for 3 months..even though there were times with ups and downs..when he was very strict with us..bt he was still a good teacher. Personally..i find him a very nice and good teacher to talk to outside..(during cldds when he taught me acting)..he is very caring and in some ways inspiring..Haha..all the best for ur retirement Mr Tan..

I also went for da AJCO concert..it was nice..then go have dinner and pool till nitez..
The holidaes are here nw and i am going to PLAY and MUG (AJ spirit) hard..

Things to achieve:
Learn to sight read for piano.
Train harder for hockey.
Mug Hard for Mid Year.

Todae is a busy dae..crap..which dae in jc is nt busy de..the main thing todae was CHEM SPA..haha i tink it was quite ok..then we went to plae basketball..3v3..lol my toe seemed so prone to injuries..injured the same toe again..made it worse..hope i stil can walk..yeah..tml gt hockey training finally and tml gt champions league finals..!! Everything nw is so smooth sailing now and hope this continues all the way to june holidaes :)

Yesterdae was a super tired dae. First was one hour of pe. Then 2 hrs of plaeing basketball. Next up was 15 mins of squash. (i found it quite fun actually). Finally it was hockey PT. 8 rounds around the track. I was running with a toe injured..haha its all thanks to Jared Liew..84kg step on my foot..lucky its still in a piece..bt got to let chinese physician push cause its swelling..hope to recover by mondae for PE...Then there was the cldds celebratory event..it was fun with all the food and drinks. i learned that cldds was inherited by a new teacher only last year..then there was some champgne popping action..as we opened the champagne WITHOUT alcohol..haha..tat should my last dae as cldds member..must focus on hockey and pt training le :)

Life still goes on..getting emptier..just mug and sleep and go to school..haha finally the june holidaes are going to reach le..yeah..nw training harder for hockey..i saw how the school cheered by AJ volleyball in the finals..it was a great feeling and even if we did not win..it gave us some sort unity together..i have decided to train harder and do more PT to improve myself..i hope to make a difference for hockey team..

AJ hockey j1 boys are finally starting to bond together..we ran through the whole school together..crapping along the way..bt something startled us todae..we were asked to nominate for vice captaincy and other important post..which was very sudden..enough of the boring stuffs..haha todae i actually walked and knocked onto a wall while saeing hi to cerlyn..it definitly hurt..however..i hope things will be different for us next year and we can win something as a team and make it memorable for us..that must start from training now..AJ hockey jiayou !!

currently theres a chinese chess craze in my class among the guys and we are learning to the ways from justino..who is a pro chess player..

My name is Koh Jin Yeow and I am 17 years old this year. My secondary school was Ahmad Ibrahim Secondary school and my primary school was Naval Base Primary School. I gave myself an English name so that it is easier for people to remember me and I named myself Vince. I found it short and sweet and easy for other people to remember. I like to play sports especially basketball. It is a game which I have been playing since I was Secondary 2. I am now picking up hockey in the Anderson Junior College which I am currently studying in. I have familiarized myself in the junior college lifestyle and environment. It is an interesting game that requires teamwork and togetherness to win. I like to watch movies and go out with my friends and relax during the weekend. I like to listen to music especially of the pop and classical genre as I feel that music can soothes your brain and calm you down. My favourite artist is Jay Chou as I feel that he is very talented and can create very good tunes for songs. Besides, he also plays the piano very well.

I support Manchester United and I hope they can repeat the Treble this year. My favourite player is Cristiano Ronaldo as he can run very fast with the ball and fakes his opponents with his dribbles. He has been a key to Manchester United form this year. My favourite NBA team is the Phoenix Suns. They can shoot the ball very well and they are always playing an offensive game and thus their game is very exciting to watch. They have a good point guard with good vision like Steve Nash who makes good assists for their teammates and leads the team very well.

My ambition is to be a lawyer as I was inspired by lawyers in the courtroom and how they argued and fight for their clients. The pay is also good and the job is very prestigious.

For holidays, my family usually goes to a small town named Batu Pahat. It was the place my mother was born and usually I will visit my relatives there and my cousins. I will also go on a shopping spree and buy clothings and shorts home. The food there is also very delicious and at a affordable price. I have cousins living in England, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore and this gives a wider contacts for me when I travel round the world next time.

My current class in ajc is 16/07 and we are getting together quite well. I hope to get inside the main 20 of the hockey team and help the team achieve something big. I am also entering National Service soon and I hope to get fit physically by participating in PE and hockey physical trainings. I hope to grow more mature in junior college and be more mature like a young adult.
This year I am aiming to get good promotional results and be promoted to jc2 where then I will hope to get good A level results and get into a good course in university.

Its the start of a new term..in a new class..new enovironment except for a few friends of mine..as usual..the dae passed quickly todae..wit lectures oni on what to bring n stuffs like that..the reading room became gambling den..2607 boys gather for ban lat* again..n INDIAN poker..the smallest gets forfeit..:P..then met my daughter for the script for CLDDS play..CHINESE LANGUAGE DRAMA N DANCE SOCIETY..lol..oso duno why i join..haha..bt so far it has been great..nice drama..all rite..to conclude todae...all the best for tml... :)
